Transportation and Traffic Modeling LPES, Inc. has continued to expand its transportation and traffic assessments services. HCS+, CORSIM and Synchro are now within LPES's arsenal to estimate volume to capacity and level of service (LOS) changes and community impacts of different traffic conditions. LPES helps the clients ensure effective communication and public involvement in the planning process. Therefore, limiting potential encroachment and land use incompatibility situations. |

| Federal End-of-Year Flurry As the federal government moves into another fiscal year, LPES has had a flurry of projects to help move the process along; National Museum of the U.S. Army, Rivanna Station, WHS at the GSA site, Travel Camp. LPES currently has active projects for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, General Services Administration, FERC, MDA and others. As always, we are grateful to be of service to our federal clients. |

NC-ASA Meeting LPES, Inc. is proud to help support the upcoming Regional Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America. It will be held in Raleigh, NC. There will be full program of presentations in acoustics. Topics include aeroacoustics, animal bioacoustics and topics on new standards in acoustics. Lunch will be provided. | Invited to EPA 3/States/DoD Environmental Colloquium LPES was invited to the EPA 3/States/DoD Environmental Colloquium in Baltimore Maryland. The presentation will be on effectively navigating the general conformity rules in a changing region. This presentation was also give at the DoD air quality round table in Atlanta - earlier this year and is available for download. |

BRAC Update The days here at LPES are steady and simple...as we continue to support the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC). The team was selected to spearhead some of the Army's Environmental Air-Quality and Noise work associated with the proposed BRAC actions. We are weathering the storm well. |
